My husband called me the other day with big news.
"I know what to get the boys for valentines day!"
(I didn't realize we got them valentines presents, because
I thought it was sort of all about ME on valentines, but this year....is different.)
"Okay," I said, "What can we get them?"
"Raccoon Traps."
I mean seriously? Raccoon traps. Why? I ask, why?
"So they can catch raccoons." He responded.
(I think I heard the word "duh!" in his voice somewhere).
Okay, so we will get our 3 boys raccoon traps for valentines day and
I'm sure that they will be thrilled beyond belief. (I do mean that seriously.)
It reminds me of a phrase my sweet Nona used to say in her thick Italian accent when nothing made sense to her..."but watcha can you do? but watcha can you do?"
Amen, Nona....Amen.
Thats all you need - to attract those critters. What are you going to do with them when you catch 3 of em? Eat em and make hats? AND, we shouldn't let them steal V-Day...it IS supposed to be about us...Keli
